Don't get me started on this F'g B, it will get me kicked off here. Yes, I think Dale Sr would be upset with her big time..I think he should have DEI not just 51%, the other children can split the rest... I just hope she chokes next yr, when he is out there at HMS doing great and her TEI team just hangs on. She has no family ties she doesn't care that the 8 was his grandfathers # she could care less... This way with him not getting the 8, he can totally "f" her off.. Go get 'um Jr in 2008 and beyond.. With any luck she'll croak, and eventually he can come back and run the team when he retires from racing..

Teresa is a smart business woman. Most people have conveniently forgotten how SHE was the secret behind Earnhardt's success off track. She copywrited Earnhardts signature and the "3" and as a result millions of dollars in sales and royalties. Dale had the driving talent but Teresa is the brains behind the operation. Just because Dale Jr can't live up to his father's high performance is no reason for all the name calling and sour grapes from Junior Nation. Same thing with all the "free the 8" crap that's been thrown around as so much cow manure. I hope Junior will win a few races at Hendrick, and I'm glad he will have a different number. Nut whether he wins or falls on his face, Junior Nation needs to either find a driver who can win to root for, or accept him for who he is, win or lose. Either way they need to lay the h@ll off Teresa and the name calling, and just thank God that Dale had a wife to carry on the family business. Junior was way too young and would have run DEI into the ground by now.

Now she's "stuck" with the 8. I think she will be sorry in the long run. Whoever gets the 8 next year may very well have a difficult time with some of the fans. They will have to outlive Jr.'s shadow. Teresa is a selfish B* and she will have to live with herself (although she probably doesn't have much of a conscience any way). Too bad things turned out like this, but time for Jr. to move on. Now he can have a completely "fresh" start. He will pick a number he likes with the 8 in it.

Yes, she is a cold "B" and dei is not gaining any fans. I don't know how she sleeps at night. Whether Junior is a good driver or not is up for debate, but he is family. The least she could do is offer him the number his Grandfather had.

I guess there are rules that make the "8" hers. I am sure there could have been something worked out if both sides were in agreement. That would mean she had to put down her b**ch stick and we all know it is glued to her hand.

I think her hearts in it for the money, and only the money.
She's not into it for the racing.
If she was so into DEI, why is/was she hardly ever at the tracks to support her teams?
Nah, she just wants money, and yes, if she loses money, she'll regret letting Jr. go. He footed her bills and was her meal ticket.......so starting in 2008 she'll be on a diet.

It's hard for some people to accept the move but it's not like he will be racing for Jeff Gordon. He will be racing for someone who has a very Strong background of ties with the Earnhardt's. Hendrick made Jeff Gordon - I'm sure he'll have no problem working with Jr. Hopefully when Jr makes so much money and Theresa looses her money Dale can buy DEI real cheap.
