Can't help you, friend. 8th through 12th grade, I never bothered doing my homework. Which is probably why I'm stuck going to a Community College now, and am trying to transfer to a State School.
You make decisions, and you live with them.

i'm going to 8th grade too. :D
1. get away tv, computer, music and whatever else distracts you
2. do your easiest homework first
3. finish your homework that is due tomorrow, then start on working on projects that are due later on.
4. don't fall behind in class, or you won't understand the homework!!
5. if you are confused, get a number from a classmate and ask them for help, even your siblings or parents can help you. just don't spend too much time on one problem
6. do your homework earlier (<-i always start late and end up staying up at night :(. )
7. keep an organized work space and do your homework on a desk.
8. finish as much homework as you can during class.
when i watch tv while doing homework, it takes a loooong time! sometimes homework is just long, because it is hard or because it has many problems to solve. good luck

What i did back in middle school was that I tried to do as much of my homework in class. When a teacher says, "When you're done, you can do whatever," you should do homework. It may sound stupid but you get so much free time at home. I rather have more free time at home then at school.

Finding a quiet room and starting it. Those two things will get your homework done the fastest and best way possible. I promise you.

Eat a snack or something so you don't get hungry while doing it and keep some motivation for yourself. For example, "after I do my homework, I can finally watch my fav TV show"...

Hey I am too! What I usually do is turn my computer off because i find that if its kept on, my screen will be myspace 24/7!!

Do as much of it as you can while u r at school. that way you have more free time at home.
