It really depends on what you're eating and how many calories you consume in a day. Normally you cannot lose weight by doing one thing...just cutting back calories or just exercising. It has to be a combination of the 2. In the past, I have tried to do one without the other and had poor results, but once I changed my diet, the weight came off.

If you want experience, fine. As you are an adult, and have had children, it would be VERY difficult to get that weight with only exercise. You could probably do it, but it would take a lot longer. If you were/are young, the metabolism is usually fast enough to do that sort of thing. But as age slows the whole process down. You'd really have to do both.

sure can. but to lose the weight and keep it off you have to decrease your calorie intake. so if you eat 2000 calories a day decrease it to maybe 1500. good luck i am in the same boat
