From episode 21 to episode 137 it was between Kimberly and Tommy, then from that point on until well after episode 206 it was between Katherine and Tommy, I am being told that Kimberly came back to Tommy sometime after that.

Nobody knows. Tommy and Katherine were "still dating" when they went away from being the stars of the show.
For all any of the fans know, they could have gotten married and had 3-5 kids by now.
