God said to Abraham: "Take your son, (YOUR ONLY SON), Isaac and sacrifice him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountain.

Abraham had two sons when God spoke to him. (WHY GOD FORGOT OR DIDN’T MENTION ABOUT ISHAMEL?).

The son of the promise should be honest, not thief.

Do you accept to be in the holy city that its doors guarded by criminals?

Hagar wasn’t a concubine. Hagar was married to Abraham with his wife's acceptance.

The passage reads: Sarai his wife took her Egyptian maidservant Hagar and gave her to her husband to be his wife. He slept with Hagar, and she conceived. Genesis 16:3 to 4.

Stealing a blessing is as stealing God. The blessing comes from God, not from men.

The bible was modified for Jacob’s behalf. The name was switched from Ishmael to Jacob. Therefore, we see contradictions in the bible. We don’t have the actual copy of the bible.
Jacob had bad reputation; they couldn’t erase his bad records. It is understandable when God chooses the second born; however, in Jacob and Isaac, and Joseph’s case happened three times with contradictions. Don’t believe it. Ishmael had twelve sons, Jacob didn’t have twelve sons. They had to add sons through unmarried women to Jacob to have 12 sons. They even claimed that Jacob slept with his neighbor, which considered adultery. How could the New Jerusalem stand with 12 lawless names on its gates? It is am myth. Those sons are not Jacob’s, they are Ishmael’s. God blessed Ishmael’s and his sons. Those sons are the same sons that have been transferred to Jacob’s to exclude Ishmael from Abraham’s blessed family. Those sons are blessed because they are of Ishmael’s lawfully. They even modified the New Testamen

It is hard to believe, but it happened. It happened after Jesus’ era. Many of God’s prophets’ wives are pagan. They modified the scripture where it says: God hated Esau and loved Jacob. Jacob didn’t like his brother Esau even in his mother’s womb. Esau didn’t have hairy body, and didn’t marry to Ishmael’s daughter, and Esau’s son is not an Amlec, and Ishmael wasn’t a wild beast, and Hagar wasn’t an Egyptian servant. They twisted the scriptures to exclude Ishmael and his descendents from the patriarchy of Israel. Read the bible again and meditate the Word.

Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, and the tribes of Israel had nothing to do with this myth. The scriptures were modified after Jesus’ era.

The Moslems aren’t Ishmael’s descendents; they are part Assyrians and part Midian from the Arabian Desert.

People seem to forget that Hagar was a wife of Abraham. And, that God told Abraham to bear children with Hagar. And, that Ishmael was blessed by God.

Because Isaac was the Child that God promised Abraham. He told Rebbecca that she would have the child. Ishmael came from the Egyptian servant girl, he was not the child God promised. Isaac didn't become the first born, he was just favored by God, and received the Greater blessing. Esau sold his birthright for some soup. Jacob didn't steal any animals, they had an agreement, and that's how it worked out. It seemed that Jacob got the bad deal there, because he had to work another 7 years to get the daughter that he wanted. Some of Jacobs sons weren't very nice. But, I wouldn't call them all criminals. Joseph forgave them, so we should too.

Isaac did not become the first born. Ishmael was and is the first born. Isaac was the one of the promise, however, God also blessed Ishmael (Genesis 17:20). However, initially when God told Abraham he would be blessed with child, he did not specify with Sara. It wasn't until after Ishmael was born that God told Abraham that the child of the promise would come from Sarah. (Genesis 17:16) Jacob likewise did not become firstborn, but was given the blessing. It is clear from the bible of the importance of blood. Blood is cleansing. Therefore, Isaac wanted to bless Esau, but God chose Jacob so the precedent set with Isaac should continue. So we see the second son of Joseph blessed as well. Jacob did not steal Laban's animals. God made Jacob wise and allowed him to overcome the deceitfulness of Laban despite himself. Jacob was honorable and worked another seven years for the wife of his choice. As for Joseph's brothers they had sibling rivalry because Joseph was beloved of their father, but God intended their evil for good, and blessed all in the end. No, neither Jacob nor his sons are criminals, God accomplishes his will, not ours, and his ways are not our ways nor his thoughts our thoughts.

The son of promise was to be born of Abraham and Sarah.
Ismael was the son of the flesh, being born of Abraham and Hagar, while Isaac was the son of the covenant being born of Sarah.
Jacob conspired under his mother's guidance to steal the blessing of the first-born from Esau. Yet, the blessing stood!

You are really asking why God chooses whom He chooses.
Scriptures says this,
"Jacob have I loved, and Esau have I hated."
I can understand why God hated Esau, what I cannot understand is why He loved Jacob!

You have now entered the Christian debate over election, and predestination.

First of all you must understand that God promised a son through Sarah and Abraham, not through Sarah's servant. God kept his promise that he gave to Abraham that he would give Abraham and Sarah a son. God didn't say that he promised them a son through a sarogate mother. God's promise stands on its own. God honored his agreement with Abraham when Sarah became pregnant with the son he promised. You have to understand Bible prohecy in order to understand what God was doing. He promised a nation to his servant Abraham. Mankind has a way of deciding what God intended for them. God doesn't see it that way.
As far as Jacob is concerned, Esau didn't see the value of his birthright, but Jacob did. Esau was just as much to blame as Jacob. If you continue reading the account, you'll discover that Jacob paid for what he did to Esau when Laban, his father-in-law deceived Jacob into marrying his firstborn daughter Leah. God's laws stand firm on their own. Man is the one with the problem. In regard to Joseph I can say that the sins of the fathers are passed onto their children and the fact that God had a plan and used Joseph to fulfill his promise to Abraham and protected him and his family during the terrible drought that they were facing that could have killed their entire family and everything that Abraham possessed. God is a merciful God and always keeps his word!!

The promise of God became as quickly as to Isaac and to not Ishmael. Isaac became as quickly as the promised one born from Sara, Abraham's better half and Abraham enjoyed Isaac better then Ishmael. do not evaluate the biased Koran.

Because Isaac is the son of the Promise. The son promised to Abraham by God. Ishmael was not of the promise but by human design because of their unbelief. Abraham and his wife Sara took matters into their own hands and had Abraham get with Sara's slave Hagar. This was not of God's plan so that son did not count in the big scheme of things.

Had Abraham and Sara been patient, maintained complete unwavering faith in what God had told them, and waited for God's promise and not taken matters into their own hands, Ishmael would have never even been born.

Simple. Ishmael was due to Abraham's plans and scheme's. He illustrates that Abraham did not have enough faith to hold onto his promise of being the Father of Nations through God's plan.

Jacob stole the birthright because Esau cared more about his stomach than his birthright. The birthright is not just the financial fortune, it's the spiritual leadership as well. And that makes it important.

Ishmael wasnt supposed to be born to begin with. Isaac was always the "child of promise". Jacob stole from Laban because Laban cheated Jacob out of having Rebecca as his wife. Jacob's sons wanted to kill Joseph because they were jealous of him. Jacob was in a sense punished for stealing the birthright.

Both Judaism and Christianity regard Ishmael as Abraham's illegitimate son through Hagar, Sarah's maidservant. He is not regarded or accepted as the covenant child. Isaac, son of Sarah, a free woman, is believed to be the covenant child/sacrificial son.

According to Judaism and Christianity, Hagar is not viewed and accepted as a wife of Abraham, but as a concubine. On the other hand, Islam regards Hagar as a wife of Abraham, along with Sarah; thus rendering Ishmael legitimate, as well as being, the covenant child/sacrificial son.

It is my understanding that the Israelites/Jews trace their lineage through Sarah, not Abraham, because of their refusal to accept Ishmael as legitimate. They accept Isaac as Abraham's real first-born.
