are there really ghosts out there or is it just something our mind makes up?

You see, iv seen quite a few strange things and have herd of many many things, but am i the only one who has? i can't be can i?

I believe in ghosts. When Jesus was walking on the water the disciples in the boats at first thought he was a ghost. When Peter was miraculously released from the jail and showed up back at the house where the disciples were gathered, at first they thought he was a ghost. Nowhere in the scripture does Jesus correct people and say, "Wait a minute guys, there's no such thing as ghosts." We each have a spirit and so there could easily be ghosts.

I believe there are really scary things out there in the spirit realm. I think if we could see them, we would never leave our closets, and I am thankful God makes us so we can't see them.. We would not be able to handle it. I think this is why each of us have at least 2 guardian angels. I believe they fight more battles for us then we will ever know. Thank you Lord.

I believe a physical Ghost is the spirit of a person in purgatory with no one praying for them, so God gives them permission to visit the living world and ask for prayers.
As for paranormal happenings, It may be demons messing with humans to strike fear into them and then get an opportunity to posses them and make their life/others hell. Or it could be technical things going wrong with the house or area.

Yes I have. I also read a book. It's called the holy bible and in it I read how God was about to let the enemy capture Israel. One reason in Isaiah is that so many people were sitting in grave yards. I.E. trying to communicate with the dead. Others were casting spells and curses. Yet others were praying to idols made of wood and covered with Gold and Silver.

I live in a house with a ghost, I think his name was Ed. I often hear him listening to talk radio in the summer. I can't make out words, but it's clear that some one is listening to a radio talk show. The radio is about 36" above floor level about where the original wall (torn out during one of several re-modelings) between the kitchen and living room. I believe 'Ed' put his radio there so he could listen to it from nearly every room in the house. 'Ed' has never interfered with us, but he did worry me some before I located the 'radio.' He hasn't 'shown' up this summer, yet.

Westerners call these Jins as Ghosts. Some of them are good and they never bather humans. Some of them are bad and they do bather humans. They are invisible and can turn themselves into any living people like a Cat, a Dog, a bird , a human etc.etc. There are certain prayers in Quran. We read these prayers in which we ask God's protection from the Jinns and God protects us if we are practicing followers of the commands of God. Most probably there could be prayers in Bible and Torah also asking God for protection from the mischieves of ghosts or jinns.
