i have recently started carbamazepine(tegretol retard) 200mg
and also phytomenadione(vitamin k)10mg (on wednesday when i was in hospital) and wondering if i can take paractamol with these tablets? because i have a really bad headache which is common after a seizure thats why am on those tablets also because am pregnant and due this monday what do u think?

you really should ask a fully qualified doctor that. maybe you should try ringing one over the phone if it's easiest. Because you are due very soon, it's very important that you are 100% sure before you do anything.

Well, from my pharmacology studies I think the best thing to do is not to take any kind of medicin at the mean time because you are pregnant and you will due soon. So taking anything may cause some birth problems and my affects the baby as well.
The reason for me to say that to you because you are taking Anticonvulsant ( Carbamazepine which should be given as a monotherapy drugs, means only by it`s-self---- because it is able to interact with other drugs or it`s effects will be lower when using other drugs). So to reduce the effects of the siezure (your headaches), I think the best thing to do is to relax as much as you can and forget about taking drugs/medicins.
OR if the headach worsoning go to your doctor.
