Hope (prayer) is useless, without action!

Having more people praying for the same thing making a difference does not make sense to me. The Bible does say however, that when 2 or more people pray that it will be done. Now if that was a translation error or not I don't know. It seems to me though that 1 person praying for the right thing should be just as powerful as many. I guess the bottom line is, I don't really know. Nor do I think anyone does.

Blessed Be

It actually makes no difference. Multiple studies have shown that nothing is as ineffective as prayer!

Think about it, of the three thousand folks that died on 9/11, a large percentage were "good Christians", and at least some of them must have been "really good Christians"....don't you think their was some pretty devout praying going on there?

Nothing fails like prayer!

Try getting up off your behind and actually doing something useful, instead!

Many studies have proven that praying for someone doesn't help. In fact, another "meta-study" (which studied many other studies at once) showed this again. Therefore, I doubt the number of people involved makes any difference.
It DOES seem to help the person praying, but intercession have never been shown to improve someone else's situation, in a generalized (non-anecdotal) situation.
Note also that prayer has *never* healed an amputee, dwarf, albino, etc. It only seems to help some people who you would expect to often get better anyway, like cancer, occasionally.

Does one man count as many? No. Does one man have the voices of other beings? No. When one man prays you can expect a miracle. When more than one man pray, you can expect many miraculous things to happen. When they all pray for one thing, you know that thing is blessed. God hears every prayer, even the ones you don't speak.

McGuyer contents that god is some sort of an accountant tailing up the number of "prayers' quantitatively.

But suppose the most evil man on earth got more prayer votes than anyone else? Does that make him a saint?

The number of people don't matter much. God listens to a prayer of even one righteous man when he prays in the privacy of his bedroom. What a glorious thought. Of course God will also listen to prayers of a group of believers.

In James 5:16 it says: "The effectual fervent prayer of a 'RIGHTEOUS MAN ' availed much". What is RIGHTEOUSNESS? DEUTERONOMY 6:25! The creator does not listen to sinners. What is sin? I John 3:4.

the power of praying is undeniable,
praying is a pagan ritual,
prays work due to will and visualization of whom is praying....and yes, if this is multiplied by many persons doing it, it does work better.....
but one prayer with a great will and power of visualization can do the work perfectly!

I think there is power in prayer, I don't know, but I do know God hears all prayers,so why can't one person pray for and God not help?
