How wonderful, I do this too!
When I wake up I really feel like Ive been far, far away, flying up high in the sky. Sometimes I fly with other people, which is beautiful.
Maybe its the feeling of the soul leaving the body during sleep.
Enjoy it!

Yes. Is a common dream to me.
I believe is related to preoccupations. When I was a teen I usually hide on the roof of the house of my parent's. I dream that I am flying over the house looking at the roof and the trees. In someway I believe is a place where I fell secure.

In my last marriage I used to have LOTS of dreams in regards to flying. I found out that those dreams are an inner desire to want to be set free and or out of a bad situation. We are no longer together, thank god. Now, occationally I'll dream of standing at a cornor wanting to get across a street and I'll be able to jump and fly over to the other side.

Flying makes us feel omnipotent and also gives us escape from our enemies, we are all powerful and no one can touch us. Escaping the bonds of earth has been the dream of man since a bear or a leopard chased him out of his hiding place in the bush.
Who wouldn't want to fly away from danger or show your friends up by flying. Look at me! And up you go. Do you have wings or superman type flyer--now that is powerful!

All people leave their bodies when they sleep. Just some are aware of the flight, or just fly.
Sometimes people get in such a hurry to leave their bodies that they forget to "dress" themselves or put on their "dream suit", so they have dreams of being naked, or being in their underwear, usually kids. After a while, it becomes quite automatic.

i read a lot about lucid dreaming recently and experts say that a lot of lucid dreamers have a good dream recall and dream about flying. If you start to become aware whilst dreaming do not panic and you could slowly start to control your dreams, which is excellent. Just imagine.

I sometimes have this dream as well. It's a nice dream and, in my own experience, it happens when I am feeling happy and successful, and also it is a premonition to something nice or an achievement.
I am glad other people (like you) have nice dreams like that.

I am fairly sure that is supposed to indicate an active imagination...or a few too many bong hits :)
Pinch yourself! You may actually BE flying, and not dreaming! :Ã
