That is, does heaven follow the path of the Earth so it is always nearby, or is it all over the galaxy?

I have no clue how to answer that... It's hard to make out what you believe by that question. But I would say that the belief in a physical heaven is a very rare thing, and if that's what you believe, than I would rethink some stuff.

here is a thought i don't know where heaven is but could heaven be a planet somewhere? why do i say this? Heaven has streets of gold and houses and temples sounds like a planet to me,just a thought

God created the heavens and the earth so he trancends both. As to gravity - God created nautral law and as creator is also subject to those laws. So... the answer is yes.
