I feed my dogs right after I have my breakfast and right after I have dinner. Around 8 and 6. Seems to work well for them.

Evo is very high protein (which is great!) but may be rich for your dog's system. Every dog is different. I have switched food on my lab a few times without tapering and she has been fine, but you know labs, they have strong stomachs. My border collie is a little more sensitive and seemed to do better on a slow switch. I normally wait until I have about 1/4 of the old stuff left, then buy the new bag and start integrating it in. Some people switch their dogs food quite often to give some variety and don't worry about the gradual thing at all. But because of the increase in protein and decrease in grains you might want to go easy. Good choice in switching I hope your dogs like the new stuff!

Changing dog foods should be done gradually. Most dogs will have digestive problems if you make the change too rapidly.

Twice a day is good. You should feed them just after you eat breakfast and dinner. By feeding them after you have eaten, they learn that you are the alfa and alfa eats first in the dog world. You should have an extra 20 minutes before you need to leave the house after feeding so your dogs can go poopy before you leave for hours at a time.

I feed my dog a breakfast meal in the morning a little while, about half an hour, after he gets up. Depending on the time your dog goes to bed I would say about 2-4 hours before your dog goes to bed. My dog gets up at about 7a.m. and eats breakfast and dinner is at 5 or 6 depending when he tells us he's hungry. I would wean them off for atleast three days and then they should be fine. Good Luck!

It is great you switched to evo, remember, evo is raw food diet and high in nutrients, they will not need as much food as they did with purina. I believe the bag recommends one cup per day. Check the bag because it goes based on your dogs weight and your vet to be safe too.

A good 8 to 9 hour span is good.

I feed mine around 8 in the morning and then feed them again around 4 oclock 5ish.

I feed my dogs once a day. Usually around 8:00 am. But 6:00am if I have to work or go to school. But for feeding them twice a day 8:30am and 6:30pm.

Your vet can tell you best, however; a dog feeds in the morning and at night. Don't overfeed. Make sure that there is no wasted food between meals.

Well, if it is YOUR dog then you can tell to stop to giving that to YOUR dog because you are the owner and you don't like that and he can get his own dog and feed them hot dogs. If it is a family dog then tell your dad that he really needs to stop and then get information from online saying ats its unhealthy and just try and get it throw his head you don't like that so he needs to stop. That's just what i would do lol.

dont feed ur dogs canned dog food too much. you should feed them dry food. like Iams or other things. they're MUCH MUCH healthier. and you shoudl feed ur dogs breakfast and dinner. NOT LUNCH. feeding them freely is bad. they get fat. so when you eat breakfast, they eat breakfst, and when you eat lunch, they eat lunch. And if you go out for dinner, feed them first, cause you never know how late u'll be out. and good job on figuring out that u were feeding them crap. ur smart.
