Not sure I totally get what you are saying. If I get you right you are saying that if you have a layover you will just stay in the same terminal to make the connection? I don't think so, it would depend on the airport. If you are getting on another large plane and its all domestic then it should be. But if you are going from say LAX to a small airport in the area then most likley you will have to go to a different termal to catch a commuter plane. If you are flying international then you would have to go to/from the international termal. If you were to call and make your reservation they should be able to tell you. If you have a problem getting from one to the other they will usually take you in one of their transport thingies. Good luck.

Not really. There may be some airports in the US that have a delta terminal and then an international terminal.
