Old photographs help a great deal, but the best way to keep memories fresh is by telling stories among the family members of things they remember of her, and things that you all shared together....maybe a few recollections of your parents from when they were children, and things of this nature. This will help you hold on to the memories well enough to pass them down to your children when the time comes, and it will strengthen your bond as a family.
An extra treasure will be reading any written things she might have left behind like diaries or entries in family bibles.

My granddaughter was 11 months old when she lost her great-grandmother, (my Mom), and to this day she remembers........ we have kept alive all the things she did with her grandma for the 11 months that she had with her....... pictures are wonderful ways to keep remembering...... and my Mom goes to visit my granddaughter........ she is with us alot........ we can feel her with us.... I know it sounds strange but we can tell when she is around........ She was worried that the granddaughter would forget her........ and we know she wont let her forget.......
.... I believe that there are angels among us..... like the song says.
.. so honey , never forget her... work to keep her alive in your thoughts and heart...... sorry this was so long, I hope you understand what I was trying to say.....
.. I miss my grandparents ... I had lost all of mine before I was 10........and I remember then everyday......

write down the memories that you do have. meditate on the few memories that you do have of her. Ask other family members if they can remember times that you and your grandmother shared.

Smile...remember remember, daily, think of her....the memories wont leave you.

Just remember, and hold on, with all you have to those memories, they wont fade.
