He isn't the brightest bulb in the package. He made a huge mistake entering the pits too early and had to go to the tail end of the longest line and got all ticked off. He was mad at the world for 2 mistakes he made. 1 the pulling in front of the 41 who had the momentum thing going on 2 the pitting too soon thing. Cousin Carl jest figgered the 41 would slow down but he figgered rong. Ain't everybuddy sposed to slow down for him? A yep. Maybe he just should "flip" out.

Everybody has a bad day every now and then Carl just had a bad day from what i hear, I didn't watch the Bush race today, I only saw the finish, but I saw on Nascar.com that Carl had a crash, thats all I know.

Ralph L, are you 17? Who articulates like that when they answer questions? I say this guy needs to be blocked.

Anyway, Carl was fine. Nascar needs more attitude to get back to it's moonshine roots. The France family has sold out and destroyed NASCAR to a watered down pansy boy sport more concerned about looks than substance. Give me more Tony Stewart and Juan Pablo Montoya. Bring it on!

Yeah, Carl had a tough one today, give him a break. Everybody has a bad day at their job, but most of us don't have to depend on 14 people working on our machine and then taking it about 200 mph down the road in order to get paid.
Generally he's kinda laid back, but today he got the whine bug, just like the rest of them do from time to time.

Yeah, that haircut, hope it grows fast.. I think he needs to go re-look at the race look at the replay, he might have a different viewpoint..He is frustrated even with that huge point lead..calm down carl, you're going to get a ulcer. Lots of racing left...

Hes simply frusterated at his lackluster Busch finishes as of late. but i do agree that he didnt need to be so irrational and seemings how he has such a large lead in the driver points, he really shouldnt be too mad. but just cut him some slack he just had a bad day.

Meh, Carl's alright. Everyone has bad days and say things they shouldn't. Lord knows I have. These guys are highly competitive in a tough sport. We fans shouldn't always judge them on their words immediately following a race. Especially if they have a tough day.

His problem is that if he's not winning a race every week, he's an angry person; everyone had been fooled by his gee-golly-shucks attitude, but underneath that, he's actually a pretty sore loser and he never, ever does anything wrong in his eyes...it's always someone else that did it to him.

They always say it was the other drivers fault because everything happens so fast! He will see how everything really happened and hopefully will apologize for his remarks!
