so wot happened was i wrote a thankyou letter for the interview and well basically i went in today to hand it in...the manger and the other sales assistant was there and they were really happy to see me.then the manager went to go answer the phone i gavce the letter to the other sales assistant and told her to give it to the manager and rushed out lol i was nervous.....wot now? im scared they ganna think im kissin *** which im not

A Thank You note is always good, but your spelling and grammar are horrendous. If they actually read the letter, you will not get hired.

Well Staci, Congratulations on your first move toward diplomatic success! There are very few people in this world who still follow professionalism in their day-to-day lives. I'd say you did wonderfully well by giving in the Thank You note. If the manager is sensible, he will appreciate it and not hold it against you. There is absolutely no reason for infering such an act as kissing *** or buttering up at all.There's nothing to worry about... Wait and find out what happens. All the best dear... ;-)

Don't worry...

...remember you have to distinguish yourself from the competition in a professional manner...just don't cross that line of kissing up when you have the job...be direct and honest

Great intiative for the follow-up thank you...

Going forward, always mail thank you cards via the US mail...

actually yes.... you were. most people dont write a thank you note for an interview.... most people just call back and see if they are going to get the job... and to let the HR pepole know that they are interested...
