to write, to write clearly, or to write beautifully?

when my dominant arm was badly broken, i had to learn to write with my non-dominant hand. after a couple of months, i could write clearly, and quickly, but, never quite as nicely or with the same facility as my dominant hand, which is funny, since i do everything else with my non-dominant hand.

Really hard, it looks like a six year old learning to print. When I had surgery on my right wrist a few years ago, I was stuck writing with my left -- of course I thought I could get away without writing anything at all for a few weeks, but that just doesn't happen. You just HAVE to write things down through the day (even though I'm a SAHM). What I find funny now, is going through an old file or box of something, and find a little note with my chicken scratch on it from that time - it's hilarious!

For me, writing with my non-dominant hand is almost impossible. My dog has better handwriting than I do with my left hand.
If you have thae same problem, just practice writing with your other hand. Write about a page a day (no matter what it looks like) and within two weeks it really shouldn't be bad.
The same goes if you throw a baseball like a girl with your non dominant hand

Almost impossible. I hurt my hand once but fortunately it wasn't *that* bad, it was my middle finger and after only a few days I could already hold a pen in my hand again as long as I was careful & didn't write too much at a time. What I scribbled with my left hand was barely readable and took forEVER to write!

For me, that would be my left hand. And it's very difficult. I can do it, but it makes my fingers hurt and the letters look like something a three year old tried to write. I write better with my right foot than I do with my left hand. I suppose if I practiced more, my left-hand writing would get better. As they say, "practice makes perfect."

It's not that hard, but how eligible the writing is..that's a different story.

I don't believe it is hard. It only requires a lot of effort and practice.
