I respect Ramadan and have known Muslims who follow the rules to a tee. But I am ignorant of much of the practices Islam follows.

It would benefit many people if you provide the information that we can understand and pass the word that "Laylat Al Qadr" is not an unpronoucable phrase to make fun of.

I respect the concepts of Ramadan where fasting and charity represent humility and respect for humankind. Judaism and Christianity both have similar events but it seems the three never meet!

I'm a non-religion kind of guy, but maintain a deep respect for all religions that exist and have existed. Hey, gods know best! Pick two!

I apologize for being silly, but there should be no worry anywhere on this world of billions of different people to practice ones worship, and those who find fault with any type of worship are at least misinformed and hard to reinform.... I'm afraid.

You will find with the internet that you truly have more people on your side and willing to back you up than the grumps who think you are evil just for using words they can't pronounce....

Blessed be...... everyone!

As usual Lawrence. After we have our Fotoor, we rest a little then go to Ishaa Prayer along with Taraweeh (This is done everyday) and then stay in the Masjid for some time to read the Qur'an. Then come back to the Masjid again before the Qiyam Prayer with one hour, read the Qur'an, pray the Qiyam and then go home. Qiyam finishes areound 1:30 a.m.

Since Qadr night is almost around the same nights that Imam Ali (a.s.) was struck by a sword in the mihrab of the mosque n martyred (19th to 21st)... we spend it in the Masjid (mosque)... from Maqrib prayer until morning prayer... reading Quran... n Duah... all 3 nights...

Unfortunately... there aren't that many Shiats around here... so I'll be home... probably watching Salam TV (which is a religious channel)...

I've set my training schedule to finish before beginning of Ramadan.
I hope I can enjoy a full month of Ramadan without disturbed by my work.

My husband and I don't celebrate Laylat Al Qadar. We only do Ramadan and celebrate Eid Al Fitr. We ate Kabbsa last Eid so I'm not sure what we'll eat this Eid.

Since you are getting rude "answers" I thought I'd answer...and I am not a Muslim.

In Idaho, the Muslims are going to be eating a lot of goat meat. I raise meat goats, and have been doing a very brisk business this week. Most of my customers are Muslim.
