What kind of blessing and how would you earn it?

Are you asking for a thank you or life? If it is life, what is the going rate?

What form of payment to "earn" it? What does God not already have as He created the universe and everything in it, so all we see already belongs to Him?

We can only offer our worship, but that was due Him already. So He gives His blessing free to those worshiping Him the way He approves. He does not give it to those paying no attention to what He approves. They don't, why should He?

Yes some blessings are earned. Immortallity is a free gift of the Savior through his Atonement.

There is a law, irrevocably decreed in heaven before the foundations of this world, upon which all blessings are predicated— And when we obtain any blessing from God, it is by obedience to that law upon which it is predicated.

One of the 10 commandments is that we are to honor our parents. The blessing being that our days may be long.

We are told to pay tithing that the bounties of heaven will pour down upon us.

At the last judgement the Savior said he would separate the lambs from the goats based upon their charity.

There are some things in the Bible that if we do something then God will do something. So I guess u can take that however u want. However salvation is free and we don't get to Heaven by our works!

The gift of salvation is free. However, you can earn a reward or blessing other than salvation. Read (Matthew 10:41-42).

First of all, I prefer the NIV, but a blessing is not generally earned; it is given without being earned, thus it is a BLESSING and not EARNINGS....

...Only through Grace, and grace is a free gift. Not by works, lest any man should boast.
