I replaced the water pump on the truck and then replaced the thermostat. After this was completed I found a small hole in the radiator and so I had that fixed. When I went to start the truck, I turned the key and there was a loud click and then it turns over but does not fire. I tried taking the spark plug out and putting it on the block to see if I had spark and I did not. The only wire that I removed was the one on the alternator support brace. I think I have tried to put that back in everyway possiable, what can I do. I need this truck to run. Please Help.

this vehicle is deemed a gas guzzler by government standards, and is destined for the scrap pile.

Check and make sure you didn't break or disconnect the wire to the ignition coil, located to the right of the alternator.

Also, check the all fuses in the PDC on he left fender well and make sure one didn't get blown.

The wire you describe removing is a ground wire, as are the ones to the left of the AC Compressor. Make sure they are all grounded and tight.

The ignition coil is in the vicinity of the work being done. Make sure the two wires plugged onto the bottom are connected properly.

Try checking the Fuel Pump and Fuel Filter. If one or both are clogged, replace it. Sometimes if one or both are clogged up, the truck won't start because fuel can't get into the engine. Hope this helps you.
