I've been single for 8 months now and it's been great being single but I'm starting to now feel somewhat lonely. I dont really need a boyfriend (although they are nice to have) but how do I get over the feeling of being lonely?

I think it's a process...like do things to take care of yourself and make yourself happy, whatever that may be...like exercise, eat right, play sports, hang out with friends/loved ones, make new friends. Anything positive like that, just do things you love...
before ya know it, you'll be happy on your own, and THAT is when I bet you'll find the right guy for you. it could be a friend you already had that you look at differently, or a new friend, but you'll find him....just enjoy life in the meantime
well that's how i try to cure some loneliness...hope this helps ya, even if only a little bit

you really need a bf unless you wouldn't feel lonely; you just don't want to go through again the same hsit you've been through. so you're stuck there unable to move between your need for love and your fear. but one of these days... you will snap out of it. and this time i wish you find what you need and want.

Dear, I have been divorced and disabled for 22 years and I can honestly say that for me I have never gotten over it ! You just learn to live with it .
