I am a personal trainer and will try to help you a bit on here. First, no matter how many sit ups you do that will not make your abs look great if you have some fat there. There is no such thing in exercise as "spot reduction." Sit ups are a great core exercise and will help your core muscles be strong, and can lead to definition and a very nice looking stomach once we get rid of a little excess fat. Before I go into suggestions I will say that it is very important to see a doctor before you make changes to your diet or participate in exercise to make sure you are healthy. So, please do not follow my advice until yo uhave PHYSICIAN APPROVAL. So, this is what will help:
1. Change your eating habits. Try to eat lean proteins (ex. boneless, skinless chicken breasts), eat plenty of fruits, vegetables (I know you don't like them, but shop around and see if there are some that you enjoy) and whole grains. Try to avoid what we call "empty calories." These are calories that do not have nutritional value, they just fill you up and the extra calories turn into fat (this includes chips, candy, sodas, cookies, cake, etc). Now, don't go cold turkey on junk food or deprive yourself. Let yourself have one bad food a day, that way you will not hate your new lifestyle.
2. Exercise, get out there and do some cardiovascular exercise. Walking is great at first, or biking, swimming, jogging, whatever you enjoy that gets your heart rate up. You want to increase your heart rate for about 20-50 minutes 4-6 days a week. Find something you really enjoy doing!
3. Find ways to be more active in your daily life. Whether this means taking the stairs, or parking farther away from where you work, make yourself move more.
Double chins, and a little extra fat on stomachs are caused by extra calories. By decreasing the junk food you will decrease the number of calories you are consuming each day. By increasing your exercise you will increase the number of calories you are burning each day. What you want is a slight calorie deficit (this means you want to take in slightly less calories every day than you are expending). So, if you take in say 1600 calories a day, you want to be burning 1800 calories a day (through your resting metabolism and increased activity and exercise), this will lead to weight loss! Remember to talk to your doctor first! Good luck and have fun! I hope this helps!

May be you're not fat at all... love yourself as you are but if you want to loose weight it's not that difficult. I eat sweets each time I'm upset but still I lost 12 kg. To be honest I was not really fat but now all people say I look much better. Only one boy said that I lost my figure (less fat in some places), so ask your boyfriend if he's not against. My diet is eating a little of everything, whatever you like but very little and never making your stomach really full. you'll get used to eating less. But you should eat rather often, about 5 meals a day, you should not be really hungry and never stay without food for a long time(3 hours). take small pieces of something with you when you go somewhere, it'll help. And you should do any kind of sport you enjoy, can be even dancing in a club or just walking. One more way: try to do aerobics for 1 hour every day or run every day. it'll help in 3 weeks, before that there will be no changes, some people loose weight later but rather much at once. For me it was 3-4 kg after 3 weeks.

Just keep exercising, yes junk food is not the best for you so you should try to look at your eating habits and see what you could be doing better. All of this should help you get rid of your double chin. Once you start losing weight you will lose it from all over. Exercise about 3-4x a week for about 30min to 60min. You'll do fine.

yes weight lost will make that stomuch and chin go away. I would eat 5 small meals every day. Dont go 3 hours without eating something. This will increase your metabolism and keep you filled up throughout the day. Drink alot of water, 30 min of walking a day will help if you want to lose body fat. And always take your vitamins. ;)

You have to eat healthy in order for your workouts to have any effect.
You are off to the right start by doing sit ups (do them every day, at least 100, Abs have a 24 hour recovery period, so it's fine).
Cut out the junk food and eat fruits and vegetables as the bulk of your meals and snacks.
Add 30 minutes of cardio every day.
You will see results in no time!
