Thanks for the reminder. Isn't it awful how we Christians, myself included, can sometimes say, "If you can't do anything else, you can always pray. It can't hurt, and it'll probably make you feel better, too. Why not?" We forget how powerful prayer really is. It's asking the involvement of the Creator of the universe. Yeah, that's power. We get so focused on what is right in front of our eyes that we forget this isn't the whole of reality. It's only the tip of the iceberg, if even that.
Please, Christians, pray for all our brothers and sisters in Peru. Pray that their faith will be strengthened through this catastrophe, that God will be glorified, and that their faith will bring others to know Christ. Come on, Christians, lets' pray!!!

I agree. God does not give us a spirit of fear, but a spirit of hope, knowing that when we place our love and trust in Him in obedience, that He will bless us, and answer all of our prayers. WE must remember to pray when we first see a little problem, not fret for months and then remember to pray. When we are in fear, we arent effectively hearing Gods voice. Tell the fear to go in the name of Jesus Christ,, and call on God to send the spirit of Hope, which is being in Jesus Christ. Obedience leads to blessing, and disobedience still leads to curse. amen THanks for another great question.

Prayer is the best thing a person can do, God loves when we speak to him and let him know that we love him, need him, and that we're still thankful for his awesome graces!! God Bless!

No. Not in any trouble. Thanks for asking something.
I remember the way it was painted, black on white, on a long red brick building. Above the windows on the second story of this abandoned work, next to some railroad tracks in a forgotten part of town, where these words:
Why pray when you can worry?

My suggestion is to quit praying and actually take some pro-active steps to solve your problems. Then something might get accomplished. Take some responsibility for your own lives, people!
And, let the thumbs down begin!
