The lines that your looking at represent the strings on the guitar, the top one is the one closest to your lap when holding the guitar, the numbers tell you what fret to play in, example, the first two threes are telling you to play the second and the fifth strings together, a zero means to play the string open, and a X means not to play that string, if a line has nothing on it don't play it, I hope this helps. I'm not sure how the numbers go the way that you have them here because there not straight.

Each of the numbers represent the fret location on the particular string it rests upon. The O = open string.

Example: The 3 on the fifth string is middle C for us guitarists. The 3 on the second string is D above the piano's middle C.

The tablatures you depict are variations of the C chord.
