hi can anyone give me some suggestions for our new pup which is a chocolate labrador girl and as yet does not have a name and we pick her up on friday thanks

Don't ever give a dog a human name, or a name with more than two syllables. My beagle is Lightning, I waited to see him go round the house before calling him based on his most evident characteristic-he is one fast runner. Pick one that bests suits your dog's temperament. By the way, congrats! I've always wanted a Lab pup. Too big for my house, though. Cheers!

My brother has two male chocolate labs. The male older one is Rocky Road and the smaller male is Baskin Robbins (he is giving him to his nephew whose last name is Robbins). I thought those names were unique and funny at the same time. You could try Hershey- Dove- Symphony or something like Cocoa, Nestle, or Snickers. Good luck.

As she is a little girl labrador why not call her"Lady". If you want a name to go with her colour you could call her after some of the firms who make chocolates - "Lindt" "Bournville", "Suchet" etc.

I think the most popular name for chocolate labs is Cocoa. I remember we had three choc. labs named Cocoa in the vet's office at one time. Things got confusing...
"Godiva" would be cute, and so would "Cookie" or even something like "Bunny" would be sort of cute (like the Easter Bunny.)

I considered having a chocolate lab at one time, and had planned to name him Bosco, after the chocolate syrup.

daisy is my golden so for a chocolate lab bean as in coco bean! or just coco or choco what about fudge ! thats a nice name for a girl or boy good luck with new pup x
