Well you see Ive had this cavity for a while now (yes im a bad girl) and I have a dentist appointment but I want to know if my cavity is serious before I go.
So it bleads a little and it has a slight stench to it. There is no swelling or pain though. Unless if lets say A tiooth pick pokes inside the cavity, its pretty deep.
I know its gross but please help me!

And like i said before, I AM seeing a dentist.
Thanks!

Yes it is serious. If it is bleeding, and the blood is actually coming from the cavity, it means that you have infected the nerve and it will need a root canal. The fact that there is a smell to it, also indicates the nerve is infected.
If the blood is coming from the gum tissue around it, then you might be slightly better off. It doesn't mean for sure that they cavity is into the nerve, but the smell and the bleeding may indicate gum disease. However, if you can fit a toothpick INTO the cavity, then yes, it is serious. Any cavity is serious because any cavity can eventually infect the nerve, even if it doesn't look big. Get it taken care of asap before the infection spreads to other teeth!

The stench indicates an infection/abcess. That means it is filled with the infection. Worst case senerio is an expensive root canal if it can't be filled.
START BRUSHING unless you want to become nicknamed GUMMBY

it sounds like its serious. it sounds like its infected and it may be to late to save the tooth. you need to see a dentist at least twice a year.

HELLO,
YOU'RE THERE WE'RE HERE . FEW OF US ARE REAL DENTISTS AND THE REAL DENTISTS CAN'T HELP YOU W/O ACTUALLY SEEING YOU, SO IF YOU ALREADY HAVE AN APPOINTMENT, GREAT. CAVITIES ARE DIFFERENT FOR DIFFERENT PEOPLE. SOME BETTER OTHERS WORSE.

Id get an emergency dental kit, clean it out and fill it in myself, try to keep it clean, dont let food get into it if possible.
