Some people are Bad by nature, and if you do good to them or no, it doesn't matter to them. God has nothing to do with it. The best thing to do is to keep a distance from such people you treat good and they return it with ill behavior.

God, Christ, and/or the Bible never said to do anything while expecting something in return. True love does things inspite of receiving nothing in return. True love even gives inspite of hateful rejection like how Jesus Chrust gave Himself.

You shouldn't do something for someone to get something in return. Do it because it makes you happy to help people. An know that it makes God happy and HE will reward you. Your happiness doesn't come from other people, it comes from GOD.

Remember- no good deed goes un-punished.
What you get back from helping others depends on what your intention is when you're helping them.
Is your intention based on the fact that you want some sort of recognition or attention for the fact that you're helping.... or are you doing it because you truly want to help?

being good to others outside religion threatens religions, they don't like to be showed for the evil they really are.... religions and their imaginary god only have as much hold on you as you give them.... make people individually responsible for their behavior, religion is no excuse for what they do, they are not anything special and that is our greatest defense, judge religion by the worse of those serving it... then maybe they'll stop inventing reasons to judge us.

It's not God - we have free will. If you're a good person helping others, then you have to understand that not everyone can - or will help. Don't blame the Lord. There are angels among us - you should help whenever you can

Haven't you heard?
"No good deed shall go unpunished."
This is the prime commandment. The rest is just window dressing.
