I thought that when you ANSWER in the etiquette section, you teach or help the questioner to be polite in a certain situation. It's ironic how I ask questions in this section & receive so many harsh insults & rudeness.

You are correct; some people answer in a horrible way in the etiquette section. Others post really gross questions there too. Apparently they don't know what etiquette means or is. I enjoy that section when it is used correctly. There are many questions about invitations, seating on large dinners, etc.; this is what I enjoy answering.

It seems to be just like all of the atheists in R&S. That still puzzles me. It's probably the same with people who go into the etiquette section and answer rudely. Some people thrive on being contrary.

Some of the people on here are kids. Other people are just plain rude and ignorant. Some people take serious questions as jokes. If I find a question to be stupid I don't bother to respond, why would I?

The people that answer like this lack morals and instead answer is such a way to make laughter out of something that they should take into consideration.

What better section than "etiquette" can you respond with an ironic answer. I think it's funny! That's why I come here but sometimes I give sincere responses.

There are a pair people who've been nasty to me in this internet site, yet maximum folk look attempting to be powerful, so i'm attempting to forget approximately correct to the jerks - it fairly is a few magic of the internet that makes people sense like they are in a position to be as impolite as they choose for - in spite of the undeniable fact that it particularly is stressful!!!

The way people answer is truly how you can judge the slide of humanity.

Maybe they're trying to teach you what not to do...
if they're rude, it makes you seem nice
so they are mean to make you feel better about yourself.
All in all, in the end it's for your own good
so it's really not so rude after all =)

oh, come on people please. rude is rude! no matter how you describe it! etiquette is about being polite and tactfull. I do apologize for my blatant rudeness on this question but in all honesty quit making excuses for being rude!
