North American Union and the Amero....what would you do?

would you give it a chance? If it was to become the most powerul and military oriented Union in the world? If it was to assure you to earn the strongest currency in the world again and have the strongest army, the strongest market, secure borders.....would you give it a chance? If it was to assureyou more land for the people ( northern Canda ) and fuel for energy and a workforce for the low wage jobs and soldiers for the army ( Mexican raw materials and Mexicans) , and if it were to have the economic growth of India and China would you think about it? would you give it a chance? Are we really being given a choice? No.That is a problem. It is being decided for us, and not for the benefit of the people, but the governments and the elite. If it were for the good of the citizens of these three countries then why is it being done secretly while they deny that anything unusual is going on?

If the only options were between a so called North American Union, and the Amero as our form of currency, or a world dominated by a Chinese superpower then I'd have to choose the former.

But it doesn't have to come to that extreme. We're still in time to save ourselves. If the average American was willing to buy more goods made in the USA. If we were willing to do our homework and elect leaders who had no ties to companies directly doing business with China. If we look for leaders that will stop spending all their energy appeasing pressure groups on both the extreme right and extreme left. We might have a chance.

More cooperation and closer ties with our North, and South American neighbors is good, but we don't want to loose our sovereignty and independence, we don't have to, and I'm positive they don't want that either.

I don't think retaining absolute economic dominance (which we don't have, and have never had, anyway) is that important, but, yes, an economic union with Canda and Mexico (and maybe Belize and some carabiean states), might be a good idea in the near future.

What would be in it for the average citizen? What would the impact be on US schools and hospitals?

Why on earth should we care whether we are a 'world power over others' as much as we care about those things?
