The RX520 can scan 35mm negatives but I have some old 120 size negs (85mmx50mm) I would like to scan these with a light box but the scanner limits me to a strip of 270mm x 27mm. Any ideas about how to change the size of the scanned area when using a light box?

Call Epson and ask if they have the correct adapter.

You can't.

This is limited to either a strip of 6 35mm frames, or 4 mounted 35mm slides.

You'd need a different scanner to scan 120 roll-film. Next time, read the detailed specs to check the formats it can accept.

The V700 and V750 both scan 120 roll-film and 5x4 sheet film.

The V350 like you're only scans 35mm format.

If you absolutely have to scan 120 roll-film, you'll just have to buy a new scanner.
