9 karat gold is not very pure so it should be less expensive than 14 to 24 karat.

I have bought 9k gold several times, as I liked the jewelry designs, and it is cheaper than the 14 k gold I can buy at home.
But it will also depend on how much work has been done on the gold, how expensive jewelry is at home, and how you have it send.
If you buy it from a store or website and they post it to you, you have to pay for packaging, handling, insurance and postage on top of the cost of the actual jewelry.
If gold jewels are expensive where you live and you like the work in England, than the cost might well be within reason.
But best see the jewels yourself before you buy.

if you go to asian gold jwelleres you might get 18 karats or 22 karats gold, All english shops has 9 karat jwellery. I love all of them.
resell value is best for 22 karat not even 18 or 9 k..
