i don't smoke weed just because I want to and that I like it. but rather I smoke because I am trying to cope with others and be friends. but when I do this, I am the one that is suffering. I know this sound depressing and everything but I feel like I have to mention this to somebody. but yea.. it's been bothering me for quite sometime now. See when i smoke...i begin to feel really lonely, and only at that time do i hate being lonely...then i find myself saying(blurting out) things that are fairly rude in front of a group of people. i'm not sure why i'm blurting things out like that but i was thinking maybe because i wanted attention or something. something I really lack during conversations with my friends. i mean, i'm a natural loner. I like to stay quiet, listen, and understand where people are coming from. that's just in my nature but when I smoke, for some reason, i seem to want to get out my lonely state. as if i weren't comforatble with myself. that's where i feel terrible.

don't self medicate just to get along with other people. try going to a psychologist. it sounds like you're not comfortable in your own skin, no matter what. i've been there. ask yourself why do you feel so uncomfortable. maybe that will help if you can find the answer, you would know where to start. good luck.

I think that would be a good reason to stop smoking weed or at least decrease smoking weed. And especially if you feel totally uncomfortable for the fact that you behave this way or feel guilt the next day from being rude or whatever, that should be some kind of motivation to stop smoking weed. Pot makes me loosen up which is good when you have all this loving feeling but when you have some negatives, it shows too, so I barely smoke.

i feel the exact same way. im an anti-social person who likes to keep to myself and when i smoke ganja, i start saying things that i would normally think but not say. i think you are comfortable with yourself, but people bugging you about being quiet is really starting to affect you and maybe that's why you start expressing yourself when your high. try to stop with the ganja for a while, and if you start feeling better about yourself then i guess it's time to quit. but if you feel the same say still, then obviously ganja is not the problem so there is no reason to quit. i mean why ruin a good thing?

Yes, I would recommend that you stop if it's not giving you what you want. I know you're trying to use it for relaxation, and for some people, the drug works in that fashion, but if it's not doing that for you, then it'll only turn out much worse for you, especially considering all the risks involved. And if your friends won't accept you if you don't smoke it, then reconsider who your real friends are.

there's some ppl that choose to smoke it all there lives (ie, my dad) it truly affects your friends and family. i had a friend like that, only it was alcohol that made her that way. your friends mean a lot to you, but if you wanna keep them you might wanna cut back or even find a new crowd to hang out with... i did. it was easier than i thought. it's your choice, just ask yourself do you wanna be the person weed makes you?

Seems to me like the obvious solution is to stop smoking. Trust me, it's more fun and actually hilarious to be sober when everyone else is whacked out of their mind, LOL
