Command-C to copy
Command-V to paste

Command is the key with the clover looking icon.

You might here people say the Apple key, but that was added after the era of Steve Jobs. The new keyboards, past August 7, 07 don't have an Apple icon on the command key any more. Instead it has the word "command" with the clover icon. Steve Jobs changed this in 84 when he thought there were to many Apples on the screen, so he changed the Apple icon into the clover. When he left, Apple started reprinted the Apple icon back on the command key.
