I have a pioneer premier head unit with 2 kicker comp 10's and a 500 watt alphasonic amp. I have had this system for over 6 months and has work fine until the other day my subs started making this rumbling sound. its not loud. If i play my music it drowns it out. The only time when you can really hear it is between tracks and when i turn the volume down all the way. And also there is this light static sound coming from my tweeters too that just started at the same time. What could cause this?? How can i fix it??

Hard to say exactly without hearing it first hand, but it sounds like digital noise from the CD player. I would suggest trying different grounding points for your CD player.

If when you hooked all of it up, you may have placed you rca cables too close to the power cable. If you did this, this is most likely the cause of your noise. The rca cables pick up the noise from the power cable. Also, make sure that the rcas are securely plugged in on the back of cd player and are securely plugged into the amp. Its also possible that speaker wire is loose somewhere, mayeb even crossed up.

The connectors on your power or ground cables are coming loose somewhere. Also, make sure the engine to chassis ground connection is solid.
