Ignore what that guy said. The "treatment effects" of diarhea(spelling?) and leakage only occur when you eat too much fat and take the pill, or if you take the pill more than 3 times a day. People,as always, only see things for how they are on the outside. They see something that might cause discomfort and they are immediately against it. Well I've been struggling to lose weight for about 6 months, and I decided that a little leakage is okay. I've been taking Alli for about 3 weeks now, and have had NO leakage or diarhea, even when I took two pills at the same time. It does work, but only over time. If you're one of those "typical americans" who want everything now and fast, then of course you're going to be dissatisfied. But if you start a low-fat, low-calorie diet two weeks prior to starting Alli, and don't eat more then 10 grams of fat per meal you take Alli with, you'll be fine. Good luck.

I have taken it since it came on the market. During the first six weeks or so I lost 8 pounds without changing what I eat. Since then I've found I need to control my calories a little bit or exercise to see more weight lost. (I started out needing to lose 40 pounds). With small changes I have been able to lose about 4 more pounds so I am averaging almost 2 pounds per week with little effort.
Side effects. Nothing uncontrollable. Some gas and typically loose (not runny) stools but easily managed.
Here's the gross part. You can tell it is working first by the weight you are loosing and second by the pools of fat floating on the water after you go to the bathroom. I tell you this because it amazes me to think that at one time I was absorbing this discusting stuff. I also can't wait to see if my cholesterol has gone down as a side benefit.
So far I am very pleased with the results.

I've never tried them but i'm not impressed by the clinical results. Especially the diarrhea and leakage symptoms. If wearing diapers isn't your thing, this may not be for you. But good luck let us know how it goes..so to speak. There's no substitute for a little hard work and discipline.

Great answer above. Where does everyone think the fat is going to go. There is no fat fairy who takes it away at night when you sleep.
