Is it hard wired, or does it use a battery. If it uses a battery, it may need to be replaced. I have not heard of any ghosts setting off carbon monoxide detectors. If it is hard wired, may be defective. Might need to replace it.

Um, I would check your carbon monoxide levels first honey. See if you have a leak in the furnace or other appliance.
I don't think carbon monoxide detectors have anything to do with ghosts (or vice versa)...of course, I don't believe in ghosts, but I could be wrong. :P
Please call the utility company or whatever your city recommends...if it is a small leak that could get bigger then you might not realize it til it is too late. Be safe! Hugs.

Ghosts emit electro-static discharges and temp changes. Sometimes UV. I've never heard of carbon monoxide emitting ghosts.
Actually, it's an almost dead battery. Either change it or if you wait long enough, it will run out of juice and stop beeping. I would really suggest changing it.

Because ghosts emit carbon monoxide?
Either
- the concentration is dangerously high and it is warning you early
or
- the battery is nearly empty

If it is battery operated I'd suggest you change the battery. Most smoke alarms and carbon monoxide alarms that are battery operated beep when the battery is almost dead.

It may contain a battery as a back-up power supply in case your electricity goes out and that battery may be almost dead. This could be the detector's way of asking you to replace the battery.

Try putting in a "new" battery...mine does the same thing when the battery is winding down...no ghost...

You're still alive, therefore there's no danger-- that's pretty bad reasoning.

Batteries could be low. Change them, and you'll be good.
