Many wealthy Manhattan-ites spend their weekends and summers in the Hamptons, Long Island. No, it is not like the Beverly Hills of New York. The Hamptons are very suburban and do not offer the ritzy Rodeo Drive-like stores.

The Hamptons is a get away for the rich and famous, who live in luxious apartments in Manhattan. When they feel bored, they go to their mansion in the Hamptons or to a party thrown by a rich and famous, or go to charity events.
