What exactly is a knife cut diamond?

Also, how can I style a wedding ring with 9 small diamonds to sit under a pear shaped knife cut solitare engagement ring.

Like the other poster, I've never heard of knife cut. If you have 10 diamonds in it, it's not a solitare. If it's less than a carat main diamond you could wrap most of them around it, outward like flower petals. Then put a couple on each side.

Another idea is to just put the 9 diamonds in an eternity band. 9 is a lot of diamonds--hard to really set unless its in a separate piece. You might could do it in small pieces like <> on each side.

I have a chevron ring with 7 small diamonds in the wedding band, but it could really easily be made with 9. This is it
