Jesus died FOR US and he suffered a lot. he saved us and did what I think extremely few of us would have done

Now god has killed several people during the flood, made his own son sacrifice himself, and forces people to believe in him or go to hell.

So is it wrong for me to have more respect or admiration for Jesus than for God?

Yes! There's a special place in Hell reserved for people who utter such blasphemy as you just did!

The Trinity does not (to me) appear equilateral. Example... Jesus didn't care what we had to say against him, personally. He told us no biggie. God, (the name, not title) commanded us not to use it for self-serving purposes. However, the Holy Spirit of God is not to be held in disbelief or contempt in any fashion. That Essence seems to be all-encompassing as an immutable Force. Yet both the Son and the Spirit need God's permission to function, exist or operate. Amazingly beautiful. And blasphemy against that Spirit is the one unpardonable sin. I believe the only way that can be done is by refusal to acknowledge. I personally pray to the unseen Father, as directed by Christ. Yet I feel the Son (at least in part) represents the human side of God. Certainly it cannot be wrong to respect and admire the Son. I, for one, identify more with the Son because He taught with human ideas and was at the same time, devine in nature. But I've asked folks for years how they pray... and you get different answers. He gave us the Lords Prayer as an example of how... and the first word is OUR. Our father. It doesn't leave anyone out. All over the world... may God bless and keep you and yours.

It is not wrong, given Jesus is agnostic Christ, a true god form and a very respectable person, while god is a figure of speech, a figment of imagination, a memory of things imagined and deserved beneath life, thus being less respectable than a proper hatha hut like Jesus. Some people are not yet able to see they are toddlers and are bound to become devas (divine beings) later. The next step in evolutionary terms is hatha hut (whisperer). There are other 10 evolutionary steps, each of them with people in lokas (planes of evolution). So there are more evolved people than Jesus living even on our planet, yet very few, and recognizable because of aura, magnetism, first impression, residual image (scary) and general feeling of previous knowledge different to deja vu.
Jesus did live on earth, but on designed module (memory), we are on timetable (capsule). Here were the real previous Mika Aris, or fabled 8. This is the time for the next and last of us. Peace be with you. Agnus Dei.

I do not believe in whoever was posing as God in the Old Testament, and I refuse to worship him. Besides according to some beliefs the Old Testament passed away when The Christ came, as He fulfilled the Old Testament and it no longer applies.
As for the New Testament. Christ was incredible beyond words, and emotion. I absolutely understand why you feel as you do. Realize though, that Christ ONLY did as God told him. God experienced everything Jesus did. This is why The Christ was sent, so God could experience humanity, and teach us to do better. There used to be 10 commandments. There is only one we need follow today: To Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all yours soul and with all your might and to love your neighbor as you love yourself. With this one commandment it is impossible to break any of God's laws. God made it possible for us to know Him better, and He did that through the Christ. So when you worship Christ, just realize you are truly worshiping God who sent Christ to do His bidding. I also believe if your relationship with Christ is alive, it will change and grow just as all living relationships do. Don't worry about it, and perhaps you need to realize there are many being who can imitate God enough to fool man. Christ taught that God is unconditionally loving, understanding, and merciful. I don't want anything to do with the so-called God of the Old Testament either. Concentrate on the New Testament, as that is what applies today. This is my belief, and I hope you get something from it.

Blessed Be

This is going to be confusing for someone people to understand. The concept of the Holy Trinity:
The Father, The Son, and The Holy Sprit. God and Jesus are one in the same. Jesus is God in the form of man. I know call me crazy, but it's true.

God deserves such admiration too. He ALLOWED Jesus to be killed ("nonetheless, not my will, but Thine be done.")

The God of the Old Testament is the same God of the New Testament. He didn't have the people killed in the flood, they CHOSE not to listen to Noah, and they were very evil. The earth was cleansed, and will be cleansed again, with fire.

Jesus IS God... wrapped in flesh.
when He took on human form, He did NOT become another ... a 2nd person in the trinity. it may be hard for you to understand... but scripture backs this up.

the Bible from front to back only talks about the ONENESS of God ... not the three-ness. (man made that up.)

God = Jesus = the Holy Spirit

Jesus is God....

Jesus said, when you've seen Me, you've seen the Father.

Jesus said, "I & My Father are ONE."
(jn 10:30)

Jesus said, "If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him." (jn 14:7)

Jesus said, "he that seeth Me, seeth Him that sent Me." (jn.12:45)

Jesus said, "Before Abraham was, I AM".
(jn.8:58)

Jesus said, "Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord" (deut.6:4)

Jesus = the Holy Ghost .....

(this is only 1 example)

Jesus said, "I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you." (Jn:14:18)
in other words, He is the Comforter.

Jn 14:26 says, the Comforter IS the Holy Ghost.

Jesus said, "I am IN my Father, and ye IN me, and I IN you." (jn.14:20)

if you are born of the Spirit, God's Spirit is IN you.... not just around you.

it's called ONENESS .... NOT trinity.

it's OK (& you should) love Jesus with all your heart, mind & soul.

why??
b/c colossians 2:9 says that within the body of Jesus is the Father, Son & the Holy Ghost...

"For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily."

Jesus is God. He is the Second Person of the Blessed Trinity >> Father, Son and Holy Spirit, Three Gods in One.
You need to study your Bible with someone that can explain to you the true Truths of the Bible. You are getting God mixed up with Evil.. God is LOVE and was never evil.. Please go to your church and get some help or find the closest Catholic Church close to you.
Good Luck.

To believe in Jesus is to believe he is God incarnate.

Did God kill people with floods or were people killed by floods? There's a qualified difference.

And besides, this world we are to belive is unimportant. To awake in paradise is a great gift.

Respect Jesus all you like, but God doesn't kill people, he simply leave us to our own choices and the perils of the world he created. Paradise is lost to us, being cast of of perfect Eden was a punishment. So why should Earth be peril free?

Of course it is. Jesus was a wonderful man and a great prophet but he is only a man and God created you i think giving you life is something to be respected don't you? He is not God son, God says he has no begotten son. He does not force anyone he gives you free will to believe in him or not its your choice. Just don't moan about the consequences. God gave you more than you can ever comprehend and we all have to die one way or another don't we, flood or not?
You are free to respect Jesus more but God suffers too when people like you are ungrateful for all the blessings bestowed on you.
