In order to loose weight you need to burn off all the calories you eat. If you are active throughout the day then you should loose weight easily providing you do about 30-60minutes extra exercise each day. Perhaps start with 30minutes and gradually increase the amount you do, but don't over do it.

1200 calories a day and daily exercise like walking for thirty minutes will lose that weight, but remember, it takes three times as long to lose excess weight as it did to gain it.....don't expect to drop a lot of weight quickly.
