The most effective treatment for depression is a combination of talk-therapy and medication, but it is always your choice whether or not to take anti-depressants. Many people effectively work toward recovery using primarily talk-therapy. However, you do need to see a doctor to get a proper diagnosis, even if you choose not to take medication.

Depression is sometimes a temporary inner reflection time. This is a natural process in one's life and should be embraced. There are times when one needs to go deep to silence the world and hear your true thoughts and feelings.
If your dizzy feelings and you continue to withdraw from friends and family you may need some interventions beyond embracing your down time.
Some suggestions are supplements that include B complexes, st. john's wart and a GOOD multivitiman.
Also activity ---walking for 15 minutes will boost your metabolism. Although it is hard to get out of the house ----that 15 minutes will begin a new feeling.
Some people use LIGHT therapy ---check out the idea of sitting under lights for 20 minutes in the morning.
Good luck and I am happy you are reaching out for help!!!

Depression can have many symptoms besides being sad. Either excessive or decreased sleep, appetite, etc. You may find yourself getting angry easily. You may find yourself escaping in a lot of ways, like alcohol, drug-taking, or addiction to video games. And the depression can come and go in level to a certain extent. But it has to do with chemical receptors in the brain, so in the short term, the easiest way to get rid of depression is medication. Once your brain is functioning properly, then you can try some counseling. Good luck!

It sounds like depression with a tinge of addiction. Depression does not necessarily mean sadness. It's a gray feeling that predominates over your life giving you no motivation to do the things you know you are supposed to be doing. It sounds also like you are addicted to the game you are playing all day.
There are several natural approaches to getting rid of depression - including exercise--, however they have not worked for me personally. I am on antidepressants for life. You might look at the site below and google "Natural cure for depression" -- but you could also see a doctor / psychiatrist for medication and/or therapy.

Are you underage? If so, have you asked for help from your parents?
If this has gone on for more than two weeks, and it's bad enough to make you lose your interest in doing much of anything, it involves dizziness and a sense of unreality, I strongly recommend that you see a doctor.
It's quite possible that it's a physical problem, such as a blood sugar imbalance.

excercise and diet play a big part in depression. eat right and get enough physical activity. sitting playing video games for hours and hours isn't helping you! lol...not that there's any harm in playing, but how about taking a break every hour or so?

you aren't depressed, you are addicted, your symptoms are classic withdrawal symptoms and you get them when you are not sitting and playing your game. You need counselling and you need to throw the damned game away.

What you are experiencing is not depression. You are experiencing anxiety attacks. If you do a search (with a search engine) for anxiety attacks, you will see that what you are experiencing is exactly that-anxiety attacks.
