As a Christian I believe that no one had the power to kill Jesus, he willingly gave his life up. So, I would say, in answer to your question, Jesus died on the cross, he wasn't killed.

He CHOSE WHEN to die. He could have come down anytime, but it was God's plan that Jesus die on the cross. The Jews didn't kill him and the Romans didn't kill him.
When the Roman soldier speared Him, He was already dead. They would break the legs of those on crosses so they couldn't raise themselves up to EXHALE (so they would suffocate and die quicker). They were about to break Jesus' legs, but the soldier said, "This man is dead."

The spear in the side was to see if he had died or if he needed to be killed.

Yes...the Romans were prepared to kill the three of them. How? By breaking the legs.

Once the legs were broken, they would no longer be able to support their body weight, and the result of having the arms stretched, would be a reduction of the diapraghm's ability to expand and contract....it would be a slow suffocation after that.

The cross was meant to be slow, and agonizing.

He died on the cross...not killed. But He rose up from the tomb 3 days later!!

Jesus died willingly on the cross. He was not killed. He died as a great sacrafice purchasing our sin. No I think if Jesus would have wanted to live he could of gotten himself off of the cross, heck he could of kept himself from ever being put up there in the first place. So to answer your question Jesus died on the cross.

He did not die on the cross. He was taken down, while still alive hence the reason he arose. He was probably in a state of comma or something. If he was dead they he would not have risen. He was a mere man. Flesh and blood. You do not come back to life if you have actually died, because dead means dead! So to answer, he died in a cave!

Obviously, both. If you mean, did He have any choice in the matter, yes He did. He freely chose to allow those who killed Him to do so. Being God, He could have destroyed the Roman soldiers by a simple act of His will, the same way he calmed the sea and raised the dead and changed water into wine. But He chose to die a brutal death so that those He loves might be free.

The cross was a common way of execution back in the olden days and was popular again when Christians were burning witches.

Jesus don't die yet. When Jews want to kill him, God change him with one of his friend who betrayed him.

Jesus will come back from heaven one day and lead us with Imam Mahdi.

All praises to the Only God.

Jesus allowed to happen everything that happened to him. John 10: 17-18, Jesus said, I lay down my life, NO MAN TAKES IT FROM ME. He had power to stop them but HE CHOSE TO DIE for us.

Jesus ALLOWED Himself to be killed.

scripture says that the devil didn't know that he was crucifying the God of glory ... if he had known that He was God, we wouldn't have killed Him.

by killing Jesus, it completed the Plan of Salvation for the world.
