Talk to your 1SG about cutting a deal with another unit to have your soldier qualify with them.
I did this all the time when I was a 1SG.

Here we are sitting in the month of mid Aug so the quarter is going to end at the end of Sept. Maybe the command is trying to get all rifles qualifications done b4 the end of the quarter and they don't have many boat spaces left. You could see if another unit is training and your man could join them. I have found that can be a nightmare because of how records are kept. I have had to turn down leave because of operational commitments. Everyone has a boss above them. Not saying buck your 1st shirt but I think you could speak with him/her. Is your unit going out soon, one of the things when you are the HMFIC is making hard calls like it or not sometimes you have to. Just be understand enough and wise enough for that and you to will someday have to make that same call.
I had a 1sgt once that told us to write down the things we did not like about our leader. He also said some day that we would have to do the same things and to go back and read the things you said you didn't like or wouldn't do. Good luck

Sgt C. as a retired 1SG it is simple. Talk with your first sergeant, if he is unwilling to budge then go to the CSM. But use the chain of command, don't get yourself in trouble. The 1SG is wrong to deny this leave.

See if another unit in your BN will be going to range before or after your troop has his leave scheduled. You may be able to work something out.
Daniel, anyone in the military knows that in the chain of command, the Sgt Major would be contacted BEFORE the company commander

He can get someone to fill in for him, subject to the 1sgt's approval. But, if that friend doesn't show up, guess who'se *** is going to be in a sling.
There is nothing you can do. It's strictly up to him.

sturdy dissertation. i became spellbound in its accuracy. You used info and historic past to describe Ted Kennedy, and yet, you nonetheless get ignorant comments approximately your opinion. sturdy for you! besides the undeniable fact that it does not communicate properly to your objective audience's intelligence or judgment while they stomp their feet and beat their chests with out clever reaction.
