If I was walking down an alley here in the city, I'd be more scared of anyone I didn't know who looked my way longer than just noticing my presence, regardless of race. And if they looked scary, like if they seemed angry or dangerous or sketchy, that would add to it. I just get the feeling that being a girl makes me a bigger target for sketchy people. PS: I don't think I'd recognize if someone was in a gang or not. But if someone was walking around with a swastika on them, I'd probably keep my distance.
