Some cats love to have their tummy tickled, while some others get violent. It depends on the cat, unless you want to risk your hand being bitten and/or scratched crazy. Dogs have a spot around the tummy area meant for tickling. You can tell by his/her reaction (one leg moving at different speeds).

I like being tickled my tummy is very ticklish including everywhere else. Being tied to a chair or strapped down to a massage table makes it more fun (to the tickler), since I can't get away. I will laugh insanely and thrash around (even when restrained) if I'm tickled.

My cat offers his tum, lets you tickle it a bit then sinks his claws and teeth into your hand, the swine! Then I do it again, can't resist. If you want to tickle my belly, it will take a while, you best bring a rake.

Hmmm...that's something I'm going to have to ask my husband to try out...

My kitty usually well lay there and pur for the first thirty seconds all laid back. Then she gets over excited and wants to play - which in her world is closing her paws around your hand and biting you. She thinks that's great. Then she'll lay on her back, flip her paws in the air and want you to do the whole thing over again.

I've learned to wear a chainsaw glove when tickling her belly.

your cat and dog love you touching no matter whether it's a tickle or not...tickling can be a punishment if done too often...then it's no longer pleasant...but animals and people, alike, enjoy the touch as long as it's not excessive...

Our eldest doesn't, he prefers his cheeks and base of his tail.

The second oldest is very timid and doesn't liked been stroked usually. When he's feeling affectionate, he'll come over to you and flop down on his back. When you tickle his tummy, he'll paddy-paw like mad.

The third oldest loves been stroked anywhere. As long as there's physical contact he's happy. If you're not touching him, he'll push his head under your hand and snake his body along and underneath, so that he's stroking himself without you moving your hand. lol

The youngest loves his chin most of all, although his idea of heaven is one hand on is tummy, the other on his throat, and my partner's hands on his cheeks. lol

Our two boys love having their tummies tickled! I don't like "tummy tickles", but I don't mind having my tummy rubbed every now and again...

No, but the Izzy-kitty likes having his belly kissed. You flip him on his back and kiss the kitty tummy. He'll let you as long as you want.
