who agrees that the kent state so called tragedy showed those young hippie punks whos boss and dont answer if you havent seen the actual video of the young punks throwing rocks bricks and bottles at armed gunmen not to mention starting fires

I disagree. First off: Why are you dredging up crap from 35 years ago? I remember Kent State! I remember that it made people (kids) afraid. I remember that it made other kids look at me with suspicion because my father was military. Did it teach those 'young hippie punks' anything? Yes: It taught them to go underground, blow **** up and kill people! It further radicalized an already radical movement. From the Summer of '68 until the mid '70s, those were scary times to be alive....

I remember it from the news. I was about ten years old back then. My dad was in the Air Force and frequently got grafitti on his car that said, "Make love, not war" or "Peace." And I remember always wondering how blowing up buildings and throwing rocks and hurting people was considered an act of love or peace.

I think your words are a bit harsh, though. It was just a very sad and unfortunate situation for all involved.

They were pretty violent for peace activists. Shooting them was little overboard. Should have just pulled out the sticks and mace and gave them some stick therapy.
