I wonder just what you think their natural role is.
I guess to them it is just all about survival and increasing their numbers.
Did you know that a healthy human body has ten times as many bacteria as it has body cells, and that it needs most of those bacteria to survive. It is not just the ones in our guts or on our skin either.
