is their a plug that you can plug into an outlet that has cable connections?

i dont have any cable connections in my room, so i was wondering if their is a plug that you can just plug in that turns into a cable outlet, i think they have em for phone jacks, so i was wonderin if they have one for a cable outlet

Of course they have them (check any hardware store).

But it will not give you cable out of nothing, you still need to connect it to a cable source. Instead of having a cable hanging out of your wall, you will now have a nice plug.
