If I truely loved him,it wouldnt bother me at all. I was in a 5 year relationship with a man who had been in a car accident..he had half a voicebox and bad scars all over his face from going through the windshield. I ended it for other serious reasons, but it had nothing to do with any physical traits.

The spiritual side of the person is most important to me.
I just know if a guy had a severe degenerative disease that
would cause more and more total disfunction of his
entire body, it would break my heart a lot. I would
have to pray and pray about that one. I am thankful
that I currently have someone to spend life with.
He has a slight learning disability and can't handel a
lot of things at once, but has a great, sensitive heart
and spirit. He is handsome and loves the simple things
in life - going on long walks, cuddeling, and playing
with our cats. God always has the answer!
I wouldn't trade my husband for any other.
He's my best friend too!

Since it is a physical trait then YES I think most would still love, anything physical could be missing limbs, not attractive, overweight and so on......all of those traits are only skin deep. The true person is what is inside. And besides love conquers all doesn't it?

Monty Python touched on this in "Be a great actor," where you only hear the woman's side of the dialogue and are supposed to read your half of the script (script not supplied).
Charles is back from war. His love's part is, "But what?"..."Shot off?"..."Completely?"..."Oh, Charles!"
I do have to edit this one, though. It is common for BOTH men and women to lose sexual interest if a companion becomes obese. For one who still cares about their partner, this can be a great tragedy.

like if a man had downsyndrom which caused the face to droop or something?
If I truly loved him, yes I would be able to look past it one day...
my boyfriend, sad to admit but true, has a "beer belly gut"... I love him and forget that he even has it, especially if he wears t-shirts....

good question....I would want him to be his best for himself....so I would not ignore it if it was fixable. So, in that case....no, I would not look past it. I would hope he would do the same for me. It would make a difference if I knew it mattered to someone else.
