I've noticed a common theme on mine, and I want to know if anyone else gets this:

Sign: Virgo
Closest match to my life is always Libra

Hey, guess what? I'm a Libra, but there's no way I'm dishing out my birth date. I've discovered that I get on very well with fellow Librans and Virgos but the best of the bunch is Gemini. Never a dull moment! I should know - I'm married to one.

However, I put no faith in horoscopes - to think that planets can influence our personalities and our actions is (how can I say this without causing offence?) just plain stupid. Oh, dear, I've probably offended everyone, now.

I'd rather put my faith in God's word and trust in Him to guide and direct me. Much more reliable, my friend.

Firstly it is noticeable that the charlatans who supply these columns use a limited amount of "predictions" which they rotate throughout the year/years and also will use exactly the same thing for taurus(say) as they did for virgo(say) 3 months back.
Having said that being a taureean myself I have noticed that the most appropriate "predictions" for me that day is for another sign. I put this down to being simply a case of catching the right fellow on the rignt day with the correct prediction for another star sign. a bit like an infinite number of monkeys and typewriters producting shakespear after an infinity of time.
I suggest that if you are always most closely matched by libra when you are in fact virgo is worrying as you are allowing this rubbish to hold meaning for you and to influence your life.

Well, I've looked at 5 different horoscopes and most of them tell me I should control my unpredictability and that my economy will start soaring from now on. The rest is highly questionable.. I hope this will be true ;)

That might be why. While most horoscopes in papers are for your sun sign (in your case, virgo), it helps to read the ones for your moon and rising signs too.

Perhaps you have a strong Libra ascendant or a moon in Libra... your Libra characteristics might be more pronounced than your Virgo sun sign. I'm a Taurus with a moon in Libra and Aquarius rising... I can see all three in myself.

you need to look at your natal chart and your chart progressions moreso than that silly horoscope stuff. It is very generalized. find your planetary positions at the time of birth using an astrological ephemeris and then get your chart done or find out how to do it yourself. you will be amazed how accurate this can be.
