Um... I almost did it... almost...

But here goes... I'm not going to give you the answer. The topic is probably one you chose. It's not likely a teacher would pick that topic. If you chose it, it was probably something you're interested in... so find out about it. Even if it was assigned to you, you owe it to yourself to do the research yourself.

One used to have to spend weeks in a big library trying to find stuff like that. Now, all you have to do is go to the Internet. I'd suggest looking at military and military-related sites. I'd suggest looking at sites of weapons manufacturers.

The idea of having to do a speech for school is not just to stand up in front of the class. It's to learn how to research and to compile information into a presentation form.

If someone on this site were to give you the information, you wouldn't get practice researching and compiling--but you would take credit for that work you didn't do. If one of us gave you the speech, you wouldn't have the practice in putting information into presentation form--but you would take credit for that too. Would you like one of us to give the speech too?

I agree 100% with gugliamo00 (who deserves the points). You already have your search topics - firing pins, extractors, ejectors, all you need is a search engine. I would suggest dogpile.com and the ability to cut and paste. Get all your data on one page then re write it in your own words. I assure you that you will be much prouder of yourself than if one of us did it.
